With a colorful past and a perfect 10/10 on her ACEs quiz, Kammi was set on a path ripe with all the things that make a great novel. It’s a good thing she loves a plot twist. Finding humor in the absurd situations in which she found herself, she was able to build a resilience and trust in herself, others, and deity that set her on a new path; an intentional one. As a little girl she vowed to someday help others with their own stories.

Then, when she was the ripe old age that will remain a secret, her past collided with her present in a mix of mind-body illness leaving her literally face-down on the floor at times.​

Pulling up some of that old resiliency, she set to work digging and applying. She fell on her face metaphorically many times before behaving her way into the holistic biopsychosocial-spiritual model. She pulled from neuroscience, psychology, medicine, dietetics, and anything she could get her desperate little hands on. Giving up was simply not an option.​

Now, 7 years later, she teaches and advocates for a better way of healing, spreading her message of hope through her speaking, coaching, and the wellness center she lovingly founded.
